Characters

  • George Washington - Evidently your relationship with America's first President will be featured prominently in the game.
  • Benjamin Franklin - The inventor/author/politician plays an important role in ACIII.  Ubisoft has confirmed that he will not play the same role for Connor that Leonardo DaVinci did for Ezio in the previous AC games.
  • Charles Lee - Ubisoft remains coy about his role in the game, but historically Lee had a somewhat contentious relationship with George Washington

Locations

  • Boston: Has been confirmed as one of two major cities that will feature prominently in the game.
  • New York: New York is said to be the second major city. The Great Fire of New York may or may not feature in the game.
  • Philadelphia: This city has also been confirmed to be present in the game. Although it is said that it will not be a free-roaming city. It will only feature as a one-time location for the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

  • Frontier: It has been confirmed that a third of the game will take place in the wilds of the Northeastern United States. The Frontier will not be a hub, (like 'The Kingdom' in Assassin's Creed) but a full environement which will be the scene of 1/3 of all the game's missions.
  • Mohawk Village: Gameplay will include time spent as a young Connor in the village where he was raised.
  • The game will feature some huge historical battles, like the Battle of Bunker Hill (where over 2000 NPC's will be fighting one another)
  • Mayan Ruins: A gamestop pre-order bonus will get the player a bonus mission to the Mayan ruins.
