Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth Demo Now Available for Kinect on Xbox Live by:Sulaimnan


A playable Xbox 360 Kinect demo for Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth is now available for download worldwide via Xbox Live. The download is only currently available for Xbox Live Gold members, but it will be available to all in one week. The timing, of course, is due to the Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray release of The Avengers this week.
During the Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth demo, players will travel back in time to the iconic tropical preserve The Savage Land, a hidden region surrounded by volcanoes and prehistoric creatures , for a single player ‘Best of 3’ battle to defend the Marvel Universe. Using their full body to punch, kick and dodge enemy attacks, players will unleash the devastating power of The Hulk and lay down the legendary Mjolnir (hammer) as Thor against the Super Villain duo of Captain America Skrull and Magneto.
Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth is a superhero brawler set in comic book-style art environments based on the Secret Invasion storyline. Battle for Earth has a variety of gameplay modes including co-op, campaign, arcade, challenges, versus and tournament. Fans can play as superheroes or villains, including Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Loki.
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth will be released for Xbox 360 on October 30 (in North America) and for the Nintendo Wii U this Holiday season.

BioWare and LucasArts have released Star Wars: The Old Republic Game Update 1.4, called “Terror From Beyond.” The update, available for download now, gives players new high-level group content, new game features and new gear. Here’s a rundown of what’s included in Terror from Beyond:
  • Operation: Terror From Beyond is an all-new unique group combat experience located on the remote world of Asation, where an ancient alien race known as the Gree are rumored to be guarding mysterious and dangerous archaic technologies. The Gree’s secrets have suddenly caught the interest of the Dread Masters, a treacherous group of Sith Lords who have discovered the key to unlocking the ancient Gree Hypergates. Once this portal is open, a passageway to an unknown place will unleash an unspeakable horror that will become a threat for the entire galaxy.
  • Improved Group Finder will now allow players to join a group for an Operation or Flashpoint and then return to their previous location once the mission is completed
  • Legendary Dread Guard Gear will give players the chance to upgrade their characters’ effectiveness and appearance
  • Unified Colors for Companions will give players the chance to select an option that will match all of their companions’ gear to their chest piece for a more stylish look

The Amazing Spider-Man Gets DLC; Full Game Now Available for Download





Activision’s tickling the digital world’s spidey senses today, releasing a batch of new DLC for The Amazing Spider-Man while also announcing that a full version of The Amazing Spider-Man is available for digital download on Xbox 360, PS3 and Steam. As the official epilogue story to this summer’s feature film, The Amazing Spider-Man video game is now available for 4800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace, for $59.99 on the PlayStation Store, and for $49.99 on Steam. The Steam download includes complete integration with Steam achievements.
A Nintendo 3DS demo is also now available in the Nintendo eShop.
Additionally, fan-favorite downloadable content (DLC) for The Amazing Spider-Man video game launches for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system and Steam today, and includes the Rhino Challenge Pack, Oscorp Search & Destroy Pack, the all-new Lizard Rampage Pack and the highly requested Stan Lee Adventure Pack, where fans will be able to play as the comic legend himself.

Dead or Alive 5 Now Available for Xbox 360, PS3




Team Ninja has released its latest chapter in the storied Dead or Alive franchise, as Dead or Alive 5 is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There’s also a GameStop-exclusive Dead or Alive 5 Collector’s Edition for both consoles, if you’re so inclined.
Dead or Alive 5 incorporates a wealth of martial arts fighting techniques into its distinctive fighting style to create a captivating new generation of DEAD OR ALIVE combat. Players will once again take on the roles of the legendary cast of DOA fighters in an action-packed brawler set in visually striking locations from around the world. The famed Dead or Alive hand-to-hand combat unfolds in new and expansive 3D stages that dynamically change as the fight progresses.
Dead or Alive 5 also includes a wealth of new online features that offer players the best online experience of any DOA game so far.
